Cucumber

Cucumber plants are high potassium and calcium requiring crops. While calcium is required at similar rates as nitrogen, potassium is required at about 80% higher rate.
The cucumber plant behaves like a semitropical plant. It grows best under conditions of high temperature, humidity, and light intensity. Under favorable and stable environmental and with an uninterrupted supply of water and nutrients, and effective pest control, the plants grow rapidly and produce high yields.
Cucumber mineral nutrition regime is best realized by using CRFs in open fields, fertigation with fully-soluble fertilizers and foliar feeding.
