Parsley

Parsley is a short-growing crop, grown exclusively for its green leaves. Depending on the length of the growth season, 3–4 crops can be harvested. Optimal pH for mineral soil is 6.5, while for organic soil it is 5.3. Apply by broadcasting, and work-in prior to planting approx. 115–135 kg/ha of N, and of P2O5, and 130-150 kg/ha of K2O. After each cutting, broadcast ± 35 kg/ha of N and work it in. On well-drained light textured soils, and muck soils, higher fertilization rates are frequently used.
