Peach

Peach trees grow best when the soil pH is between 6.0 - 6.5. If the soil tests below this range, add lime to raise the pH up to the said range. Nitrogen and other nutrients, with the exception of zinc, can be broadcasted over the ground and watered in, or applied in a band in the irrigation furrows prior to irrigation. Controlled release fertilizers are ideal as conventional fertilizer close to the trunk may cause tissue damage.
