My name is Nelson Gonzalez and I'm the ICLSF South Florida Territory Manager, Key Accounts Manager and ICLSF Americas Digital Media Lead. My goal in this position is to provide my customers with solutions to challenges they face on a daily basis while in the horticultural industry. I enjoy helping those that I work with find solutions throughout their operations that make them more productive and ultimately more successful and profitable. What makes me different is that I have experience as a business owner and a grower. So I've walked in your shoes. These two opportunities have given me a unique perspective as it relates to production, sales, logistics, employees, the market etc. I understand your challenges and will work relentlessly to provide you with solutions. Original Osmocote 14-14-14 introduced with resin coating, ensuring that one application of nutrients would last for a long period of time; was the start of a new principle of fertilizer application. Sierra Chemical Company established Osmocote resin coating and Agriform® Planting Tablets now under same umbrella.

Micromax® was developed in field trials utilizing computer modeling by Dr. Carl Whitcomb at Oklahoma St. University.

Osmocote® Pro blended products developed to meet a wider range of crop and business needs by blending different elements and sources of nitrogen together.

Peters® joins Osmocote. Osmocote controlled release and Peters® water soluble fertilizers brought together as supporting brands, when Grace-Sierra was formed. Osmocote manufacturing plant opened in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Scotts Company acquired Grace-Sierra, and Osmocote became a regular participant in rigorous field-testing at the company's R&D facilities in Florida, Texas, California, Ohio and Oregon. It also ushered in an era of unprecedented side-by-side plant trials in both cooperative nursery and university programs.

Osmocote Plus introduced. The controlled release of N-P-K and micronutrients in a homogeneous prill created an entirely new class of Patterned Nutrient Release products that better matched the feeding habits of different plant species.

Osmocote with patterned release technology developed. Programmed release is the science of predefining nutrient release to further improve plant quality, while saving time and money.

Fusion Technology™ introduced to help surface-applied Osmocote to stick to growing media in nursery containers, preventing the loss of prills when pots get tipped or blown over.

Introduction of Osmocote® Bloom formulated mini-prills for greenhouse plants in smaller container with a production time of 6-12 weeks. ICL acquires Scotts Professional products including Osmocote, R&D and production sites; the fertilizer company is branded Everris.

E-Max coated urea and Blue Max coated aluminum sulfate introduced. These technologies were developed to complement and expand the Osmocote portfolio by providing additional options.

Everris renamed ICL Specialty Fertilizers. This change reflects the strength of a global organization to drive future research, development and support of the Osmocote brand around the world. Osmocote iron and Osmocote CalMag are introduced.

The beginning of WNPK as a communication channel
