Hard water has specific characteristics and requires a special fertilizer; a fertilizer that ensures that the bicarbonate present in the water is neutralized. Products in the Peters Excel ‘Acidifier’ range have been developed for hard water conditions and have a bicarbonate-neutralizing effect which helps to improve the water quality. Acidifier ensures a stable pH level in the growing media. The high levels of chelated trace elements in Acidifier deliver excellent growth and colour. All Peters Excel products contain M-77 technology, allowing for maximum absorbability of nutrients.
Peters Excel Hard Water Finisher is developed for application in hard irrigation water. It is ideal for plants requiring controlled and compact growth. Thanks to the N:K ratio of 1:2, it is suitable in cases of relatively high levels of nitrogen in the irrigation water. Peters Excel Hard Water Finisher acidifies the irrigation water and neutralizes bicarbonate.
Peters Excel Extra Acidifier is developed for application in hard irrigation water with high levels of bicarbonate. This Peters Excel product has a stronger acidifying effect than other Peters Excel acidifiers. Additional acidification of the water may sometimes be necessary, depending on the bicarbonate levels.
Peters Excel Hard Water Grow Special is developed to encourage growth in situations in which hard irrigation water is used. It has an acidifying effect on the irrigation water and neutralizes bicarbonate. Peters Excel Hard Water Grow Special ensures a stable pH level in the soil.
