The longevity of Osmocote Exact Protect 8-9M is affected by temperature. The postponed start period is 1.5-2 months (depending on temperatures around application time).

Store under dry conditions. Partly used or damaged bags should be closed well.

The above mentioned rates are general recommendations. Adjust the rate to specific circumstances. The mentioned rates are based on potting substrates with max. 0,5 kg/m³ of base fertilizer. For most pottings in the mentioned period, no base fertilizer is needed.
Osmocote Exact Protect 8-9M can be mixed in the potting substrate or dibbled in the plant hole. Dibbling is only recommended for well-rooted liners (P9). Only make use of fertilizer applicators, which do not damage the coating.
Osmocote Exact Protect is a 100 % dual coated fertilizer; the initial release of nutrients is postponed in the first 1.5-2 months. It is very important to apply Osmocote Exact Protect in the correct potting period. Depending on your circumstances it might be necessary to slightly re-fertilize in the main growing period.
