Description

Both elements can be easily and quickly taken up due to its complete and rapid solubility. Select MAP is an acidifying product because of the ammonium component. Therefore in alkaline soils Select MAP is the perfect phosphorus and nitrogen supplier. Select MAP is exclusively sold via Everris in many countries.

Agronomical advantages and usage

1. High in phosphorus and nitrogen content
2. Can be easily mixed with single or compound fertilizers
3. Ensures quick start of the crop
4. Is the right source of phosphorus at flower initiation
5. Ideal P source for alkaline soils
6. Do not mix Select MAP with Ca / Mg in 1 tank

1. Select MAP has a high nutrient content in both phosphorus (P2O5) and nitrogen (NH4). The product is an ideal base for a fertigation program. Select MAP can be used as the sole phosphorus-source for the complete crop cycle.

2. Usually Select MAP is used in combination with single fertigation fertilizers like Select KCl or other single fertilizers like ammonium nitrate or urea. By varying the rate of Select MAP in the solution the right balance between nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is obtained.

3. Select MAP is especially suitable in the growth period when root establishment needs to take place. Sufficient phosphorus supply for transplants and crops that have to create a root system is crucial for a good start. Select MAP is the product to perfectly start production.

4. The phosphorus in Select MAP can also be used to prevent fruits from aborting fruits e.g. in melon. Sufficient P-supply is crucial in this stage. Select MAP can be included in the fertilizer program to initiate flowering so the need for phosphorus in the flower development stage is fulfilled.

5. The pH of Select MAP is 4,5 (at a 1%solution) it therefore acidifies the substrate on which it is grown. This makes Select MAP the ideal phosphorus fertilizer in alkaline soil situations.

6. Do not mix Select MAP with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) fertilizers. To avoid precipitation dissolve Select MAP in a different tank. Dissolve calcium or magnesium products in a different tank.

Directions for use

Use Select MAP as the phosphate source in your fertigation program. Select MAP can be easily mixed with other single source soluble fertigation fertilizers like Select KCl, urea or ammonium nitrate. Do not mix Select MAP with calcium and magnesium fertilizers. To avoid precipitation dissolve Select MAP and calium or magnesium products in different tanks. Before a new rate, product or application method is used, a small scale trial is recommended. Contact Everris or your professional advisor for specific advice and recommendations.

Select MAP 12-61-0 is a high grade, white crystalline, fully soluble, free flowing phosphorus fertigation fertilizer containing ammonium-nitrogen. Both elements can be easily and quickly taken up due to its complete and rapid solubility.
