Advantages
This granular water soluble starter charge with micronutrients is blended into the soilless media with lime and H2Pro granular wetting agent to allow for great plant starts while providing nitrogen to cover media nitrogen draft and charging the media with micronutrients.
Directions for Use
Always be aware of media pH and the total amount of the minor nutrients provided to the plant. Keep from direct contact to the stem or leaves of young plants. Uni-Mix works best if watered either before planting or soon after planting. Focus on dispersing the Micromax into the media where it will slowly become available to the plants.
Suggested Application Rates
• Incorporate at 2 lbs./cu. yd. in addition to limestone, if required. Gypsum may be substituted for some of the limestone for acid-loving plants.
• Start using Peters® fertilizer as a liquid application at planting or no later than two weeks after planting.
• Never steam-sterilize or heat mixes containing Uni-Mix.
