Description

Seaside II is bred to grow under high saline conditions while providing high-quality playing surfaces. It can tolerate salt levels of up to 15,000 ppm. It is also capable of growing under high pH conditions (7.5 – 8.5).

Seaside II shows good resistance to dollar spot and other diseases. Due to its low fertility and drought tolerance, it is capable of combating grassy weeds like Poa annua.

Directions for Use

For new seedlings ICL recommends a seeding rate of 6 – 7.5gr/m2. For inter-seeding it should be 0.5 – 1.25gr/m2.

It is also recommended to use an annual general fertilizer program: Nitrogen 10 - 20gr/m2, Phosphorous 5 - 7gr/m2and Potassium 25 – 40gr/m2.

Product performs best when kept on the dry and lean side. The recommended cutting height is 3 – 7mm.

Seaside II is a creeping bentgrass that is perfect for coastal greens, tees and fairways. It is part of ICL’ Salt and Wear tolerance programs.
