Description

Penn A-1 has a strong green color with a fine leaf texture. It has exceptional drought and cold tolerance qualities and delivers high-density turf.

Penn A-1 has almost no moss invasion. It also has remarkable resistance to Dollar spot, Phytium and Brown patch.

Descriptions for Use

For new seedlings ICL recommends a seeding rate of 6 – 7.5 gr/m2. For inter-seeding it should be 0.5 – 1.25 gr/m2.

It is also recommended to use an annual general fertilizer program: Nitrogen 10 - 20gr/m2, Phosphorous 5 - 7 gr/m2 and Potassium 25 – 40 gr/m2.

Product performs best when kept on the dry and lean side. The recommended cutting height is 3 – 7mm.

Penn A-1 is a creeping bentgrass that is fantastic for greens, tees and fine turf. It is part of ICL’ Visual Merit, Cold, Drought, and Wear tolerance programs.
