Penn A-4
Penn A-4 is a creeping bentgrass that is wonderful for greens, tees and fine turf. It is part of ICL’ Visual Merit, Cold, Drought, and Wear tolerance programs.

Penn A-4 has an intense dark green color and a fine leaf texture. It has great heat and cold tolerance resistance and develops a dense sward due to its aggressive growth habit. It has a high success rate for combating Poa annua and weeds.
For new seedlings ICL recommends a seeding rate of 6 – 7.5gr/m2. For inter-seeding it should be 0.5 – 1.25gr/m2.
It is also recommended to use an annual general fertilizer program: Nitrogen 10 - 20gr/m2, Phosphorous 5 - 7gr/m2and Potassium 25 – 40gr/m2.
Product performs best when kept on the dry and lean side. The recommended cutting height is 3 – 7mm.
