Penn G-2 is a creeping bentgrass that is ideal for greens and fine turf. It is part of ICL’ Cold, Drought and Wear tolerance programs.

Penn G-2 is perfect for smooth putting surfaces due to its low vertical growth, fine leaf texture and high density. It also has excellent resistance to Dollar Spot. Due to its great cold tolerance, Penn G-2 maintains its color in cooler temperatures.
For new seedlings ICL recommends a seeding rate of 6 – 7.5gr/m2. For inter-seeding it should be 0.5 – 1.25gr/m2.
It is also recommended to use an annual general fertilizer program: Nitrogen 10 - 20gr/m2, Phosphorous 5 - 7gr/m2 and Potassium 25 – 40gr/m2.
Product performs best when kept on the dry and lean side. The recommended cutting height is 3 – 7mm.
