Blackcurrant requires high application rates of calcium and iron. This soft fruit can be grown successfully on a wide range of soil types, which provide good drainage, and where soil fertility is adjusted and maintained. They prefer damp, but not waterlogged ground. Soil should be slightly acidic with a pH range of 5.8–6.7. The soil should have a rich supply of organic matter to promote good drainage, aeration and moisture retention. Blackcurrant is highly sensitive to late spring frosts.
Agroleaf Power Magnesium
Agroleaf Power Magnesium contains NPK, MgO and SO3. It cures and prevents Magnesium deficiencies found in soils like: acidic, light and sand. It also increases photosynthesis and chlorophyll creation. It is great to use for crop recovery, stress relief and cell stretching.
Agrocote Max 3-4M
E-Max Release Technology™ is a reacted polymer coating for use on macronutrients and micronutrients to improve nutrient efficiency and plant utilization. The release of nutrition is based upon moisture and temperature, offering predictable longevities, even under the warmest conditions.
