The perfect controlled release solution for the establishment of young plants

Get maximum efficiency and ease of use with our coated, controlled-release fertilizer - Agroblen.

Agroblen provides a continuous supply of nutrients throughout your chosen longevity. As every single NPK granule is coated, it’s safe for early crop cycle stages and promotes uniform growth – ideal for young plants.

Agroblen comes in different longevities, from 2-3 up to 16-18 months, to cover the nutritional needs of a wide range of crops – from fruits such as strawberries, to perennials such as vineyards, orchards, forestry and tropical crops.

Agroblen uses ICL’s patented Resin Release Technology that precisely controls the release of nutrients. The release is regulated by soil temperature and ensures that the nutrient availability closely matches plant demand. This reduces the excess of nutrients that is lost into the atmosphere or soil, which means it minimizes the fertilizer’s environmental impact. As a result, this technology maximizes your crops’ uptake and nutrition use.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions we received from farmers.

Thanks to its resin coating, Agroblen delivers daily small amount of nutrients in the root zone, without creating a high level of salts and possible root burn. That’s the reason that Agroblen can be placed into the planting holes with beneficial effects for the young root system!

If at planting the soil is too dry and there is no rainfall foreseen, yes – it is recommended to irrigate. Water will penetrate through the resin coating and start dissolve the nutrients inside. The release back into the rooting zone is precisely steered by soil temperature. So irrespective of the amount of irrigation/rainfall, Agroblen releases small amounts of nutrients according to plant’s needs. Keeping a constant moisture level of the soil will improve product’s performance!

The longevity of your Agroblen is based on an average temperature of 21C. In warmer conditions, the product will release the nutrients faster. On the other hand, in colder conditions the release of nutrients will be slower and provide longer availability of nutrients. So knowing your growing conditions correlated with the longevity of your crop cycle, you can now choose the right product for it!

Usually 1 application of Agroblen, especially when new plantations are installed, is enough to cover plant’s needs for one season. Nevertheless, for fruiting crops, like strawberry, extra application of water-soluble fertilizers, especially at generative stage, might be very beneficial.
