Cathrine is a slender creeping red fescue that is ideal for fairways, roughs, slopes, roadsides and recreational areas. It is part of ICL’s Low Maintenance, Salt and Shade tolerance programs.

Directions for Use

Establishment and Maintenance

  • Seed at 20 - 30 gr/m²
  • Keep seedbed moist during germination and establishment
  • Expect germination in 7 -14 days at minimum soil temperature of 12° C, with full coverage expected in 6 - 8 weeks
  • Mow when turf reaches 5 cm

 

Established Turf Maintenance

  • For best results, fertilise at annual rate of 10 - 15 gr/m² of nitrogen
  • Irrigate deeply and infrequently in absence of rainfall; more lightly and frequently for overseeded turf
  • Mow at 7-25 mm (Shade 50-80 mm)
