It improves the nutrient holding capacity of the soil because of its high Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC).
It is the ideal additive for incorporating new root zone constructions. Greenmaster Topdress Z contains low levels of Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium which harden the turf. It also increases the amount of pores in the soil, improving water-holding and infiltration, and drainage in heavy soils.
