Are you getting the most from beneficial nematodes?

Where: ICL Seminar at Four Oaks Trade Show, Cheshire.

When: 11.30-12.00 Tuesday 3 & Wednesday 4 September.

Beneficial nematodes products are taking a leading role in the control of some of the UK’s most challenging pests of ornamental crops, such as black vine weevil, sciarid fly and western flower thrip.Containing specific species of beneficial nematodes − the natural enemies of target pests − these biological products are highly effective when used correctly.   However, compared to chemical controls, these living products require a different mindset and approach in regard to application, environmental requirements and storage.

Earlier this year ICL launched its Seeka beneficial nematode range – Vine Weevil and Fungus Gnat Seeka. Four Oaks Trade Show sees the launch of a third product – Vine Weevil Seeka CT – containing the Cold Tolerance nematode Steinernema kraussei.

With the focus on vine weevil control, ICL is hosting a highly practical seminar at Four Oaks led by two highly experienced practitioners of biological control - Martin Donnelly and Andrew Wilson (both BASIS qualified).

ICL's PH Technical Manager Andrew Wilson

ICL's PH Sales Development Manager Martin Donnelly

Come along and you’ll learn how these beneficial nematodes exert control on challenging pests, how to get the best Return on Investment (ROI) in regard to application timings and methods, and how these highly effective Seeka biological products fit in to an overall IPM plan for controlling of this potentially devastating pest.

BASIS points are available for those registered. All attendees at these seminars will receive a £5 lunch voucher to spend at the Four Oaks catering services.
