Covid update - Friday 13th May
Further to our recent communication with regards to production and delivery of our growing media range, and the changes to the government stance on the opening of garden centres, please see below a further update on our lead times.
Professional Growing Media
While all orders are of the utmost importance to us, production of our professional growing media remains our key focus. However, due to increased demand we do need to extend our lead times from 5 working days to 10 working days. Albeit we will endeavour to meet customers requirements as early as possible.
As I am sure you will be aware, the next bank holiday is on the 25th May, once again, we will continue to keep our operations open and in production through this period in order to minimise delays in getting order to our customers.
Humax Range
Production of our retail range remains under pressure, as previously stated we are not set up for mass production of retail product and as a result lead times remain at up to 8 weeks. I understand that this is causing frustration for customers and we apologise for these delays. We continue to try and maximise our production efficiency by running longer production runs of specific items, which while fulfilling some needs will delay production of the more specialist lines.
Please be assured we are trying to manage these orders in a way that is fair to all customers and will communicate delivery times to you as soon as possible.
In order to get product out more quickly, we are shipping part orders. In order to prevent confusion, we are cancelling back orders for items not delivered. If customers still require the back order it will be re-instated without creating any further undue delay.
Once again, we would like to thank you for your continued custom and for your patience and we will continue to work hard at ensuring your needs are met as soon as practicably possible.
