ICL will be celebrating 50 years of growing media excellence with Levington at the Four Oaks Trade Show in September. As well as unveiling the latest advances in this iconic growing media range, including a new Levington Advance Solutions mix for bedding, the stand will feature Osmocote Preplant – new to ICL’s precision nutrition controlled release fertilizer range.

ICL’s comprehensive growing media solutions package, Levington Advance Solutions optimises the design and production of quality, customised mixes to suit customers’ individual requirements. New innovations to be highlighted at Four Oaks will be premixing the biofungicide Prestop (now marketed exclusively in the UK and Ireland by ICL) in to the growing media improving convenience and accuracy, while helping keep labour costs down.
Meanwhile, this year’s ICL Professional Horticulture’s Grow, Nurture and Protect Seminar will analyse topical day-to-day nursery management challenges.
“With the continuing loss of chemical active ingredients, increasing use of biologicals and advanced technical fertilizers closely match plant demands, there is plenty for growers to think about,” says ICL’s Marketing Communications Manager Adam Ferjani. “Andrew Wilson will be joined by growers and manufacturers to help define these issues and suggest solutions."
