ICL-SF Specialty Agriculture is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Judd as its new Sales Lead, UK and Ireland
In his new role, Andy is looking forward to passing on vital technical knowledge to ICl SF’s distribution and grower customers. He is also looking forward to meeting his colleagues in person once the government’s restrictions, due to the coronavirus, are lifted.
He says: “I’m home based to start with but as soon as the restrictions are eased, I’ll be travelling up to Ipswich to start my formal training.”
“This role is a great opportunity for me to join the ICL SF team and to also be a part of its international sales team – utilising all of the resources from ICL’s global infrastructure to promote the Specialty Agriculture range for the UK and Ireland.”
The FACTS (BASIS)-qualified salesman began his career at the “roots” of the industry – gaining invaluable experience in many sectors, including landscaping, growing, estate management, viticulture, and garden retail. He therefore prides himself on being able to understand, and adapt to, customers’ wide-ranging needs.
Andy also brings to his new role his flair for sales – a passion that he nurtured during his 13 years with Hortifeeds. There, he worked as the firm’s sales manager for Southern UK and Ireland and Scotland, giving growers of ornamental and soft fruit crops invaluable advice on nutrition.
When he’s not imparting his extensive knowledge, dad-of-two Andy enjoys spending time with his family, renovating his home in the New Forest, and enjoying “the great outdoors.”
