Growers can now find out about ICL’s precision nutrition products - as well as Exemptor vine weevil control - via a series of professionally shot videos featuring on a new YouTube channel – ICL Professional Horticulture.

The 12 short informative product videos, each just one to two minutes long, feature Osmocote controlled release fertilizer, Peters Professional and Universol water soluble fertilizers as well as Exemptor. They are led by ICL’s highly experienced and well-respected technical manager Andrew Wilson.   

“Packed with practical advice as well as technical information, the videos have been shot on location at nurseries where the products are used,” says Adam Ferjani, from ICL’s Professional Horticulture marketing team.   “The footage can also be found on our new website, www.icl-sf.co.uk.   This format seems very popular with growers, the series has already attracted over 1000 views in total.”

A topical video on Osmocote Topdress, the coated fertilizer for topdressing container nursery stock, is proving particularly popular with growers looking to optimise early season sales.   Another features Osmocote Exact Hi.End, ICL’s latest fourth generation programmed release fertilizer utilizing double coating technology.  

“Responding to demand, we recently extended our popular Universol portfolio with new hard and soft water options making a complete range for all growing circumstances and water qualities,” explains Adam.  “New additions include growing and finishing formulae.  Growers can now view a two minute video telling them all they need to know.”

For growers interested in vine weevil control, the channel also features a recent detailed presentation by Andrew Wilson and Dr Colin Mumford, of Bayer Crop Science, on the role Exemptor is playing in controlling this pernicious pest.  The 20-minute presentation was made at the recent HTA Conference.
