Vegetable, salad and fruit growers can now conveniently join and participate in ICL technical seminars − featuring precision nutrition and water saving products − without having to leave the farm thanks to new ICL new Webinar offering.
"Transmitted over the web using video conferencing software, ICL webinars offer interactive elements: the ability to give, receive and discuss information in real-time,” explains Scott Garnett, ICL specialty agriculture manager for UK & Ireland.
“Employing webinar software, our presenters can share audio, documents and applications with attendees. Packed with technical information, as well practical advice, our product seminars are proving popular, each one attracting 40 or more growers, advisers and distributors.”
The first webinar featured ICL’s controlled release fertilizer Agromaster, which combines quick initial nutrient release with release of coated nutrients over a longer period. Employing E-Max coating technology, Agromaster products provide 1-2, 3-4 or 4-5 months longevity. The presentation included crop recommendations and practical advice on how to apply it.
The second featured H2Flo, ICL’s new blend of surfactants enabling better water distribution in the soil.
“H2Flo allows growers to do more with less water,” explains Scott. “Improving water usage efficiency, it can generate 25% plus water savings while maintaining or improving yield. This produces significant savings on irrigation costs. Water saving can have a huge environmental benefit and contribute significantly towards more sustainable growing practices.”
In the future ICL is looking to register its Technical Product Webinars so participants qualify for BASIS points.
